Security

LinguChat secures multilingual communication with a practical 3-stage protocol designed for cloud reliability and strong data protection.

Security Commitment

Limitless Chat, Bank-Level Security.

From the moment your message leaves your device until it is stored, LinguChat protects data with encryption standards widely used by global finance and enterprise platforms.

How It Works (Technical Summary)

1. Armored Tunnel (In Transit)

Messages travel through TLS 1.3 from your device to our servers, protecting content against interception by network attackers.

2. Instant Processing

Messages are decrypted, translated, and re-encrypted in RAM. Data is processed in volatile memory and is not written to disk during this stage.

3. Digital Vault (At Rest)

Stored message data is encrypted with AES-256. Encryption keys are managed separately through a Key Management Service (KMS).

Who Uses This Method?

This server-side encrypted architecture is broadly used across products that require synchronization, search, fraud controls, and reliability at scale.

  • Slack: Encrypts data on servers while supporting search, synchronization, and enterprise controls.
  • Gmail: Stores and processes email data in the cloud while protecting it with layered encryption and security controls.
  • Instagram and Facebook Messenger: In default cloud mode, messages are retained on servers to support device switching and history continuity.
  • Digital Banks: Use strong encryption models to store transaction and account data in secure infrastructure.

Why This Model

  • Balances usability and security: fast access, search, and sync with strong encryption.
  • Allows you to recover your conversations when switching to a new phone.
  • Protects stored data against external compromise with AES-256 and isolated key management.

Security FAQ

Do you read my messages?

No. LinguChat processes message content automatically for translation in milliseconds. The process is software-driven and your content is then protected with encryption.

How is this different from WhatsApp?

WhatsApp primarily keeps message availability tied to device and backup settings. LinguChat stores messages on encrypted cloud infrastructure, enabling secure cross-device history and instant translation workflows.
